Once the City of Rome's water supply tank, the City Clocktower is now the official symbol of Rome and perhaps our most beloved landmark. Inside, you will find a small museum featuring murals depicting the history of Rome, and the clock's original clock works. The outside structure is constructed of red brick, decagon in shape. The inside water tower is is built of 10-foot sheets of iron, manufactured at the Noble Foundry in downtown Rome. A 3-foot space between the iron and brick structures permits an interior spiral staircase of 107 steps to the top.
