Each winter, the State Botanical Garden of Georgia at the University of Georgia in Athens is transformed into a wonderland of twinkling lights and dazzling displays.
The light show, presented by the UGA Office of the President and the Georgia Lottery, follows a half-mile fully accessible trail through a Winter Wondercave, along Jingle Bell Lane, into the Northern Lights and through a Cone Tree Forest, among other dazzling features. Get your tickets now for select nights Nov. 21- Dec. 30, and returning the first two weekends of January as Wonderlights: Disco Nights!
Along the way, visitors can roast marshmallows for s’mores over an open fire and enjoy rich hot chocolate or other refreshments.
