“The movies have touched all our lives—mine as a farm boy. It gave me a vision of the outside world. I’m sure the first time I saw the White House was in the back seat of a movie theater.” -President Carter, reception for the American Film Institute 10th Anniversary Gala, East Room, The White House, Nov. 17, 1977
The Plaza Theater and The Tara Theater will be hosting a few screenings at their venues for the #JC100FilmFestival! They will also be showing some of President Carter's favorite films leading up to the big day at the museum. We thank them for their unbelievable generosity and support!
