Step into the heart of Braselton’s past at the Braselton Heritage Center, located inside The 1904—the original cornerstone of the Braselton Brothers Department Store. Built in 1904, this historic space now blends heritage and hospitality, offering a fresh take on storytelling in the town’s beautifully preserved downtown.
Discover displays that highlight the people, businesses and traditions that shaped Braselton and its surrounding communities. Antique dress cabinets—once used to display women's fashions—now showcase artifacts, photographs and mementos from Braselton's early days. The exhibits share both treasured history and meaningful nods to what makes the town special today.
The Heritage Center sits in the front room of The 1904, a welcoming space open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Grab a drink, meet up with friends or find a quiet spot to relax or work—surrounded by reminders of the town’s storied past. The building also houses a taproom, bakery, restaurant and retail shops, making it a lively hub for locals and visitors alike.
