Boars' Head 2025 Concert and Celebration

A time-honored tradition at Oglethorpe University, the Boar's Head concert and celebration will take place on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Conant Performing Arts Center. For almost a century, Boar's Head has been a staple in Oglethorpe heritage and launches the OU holiday season. Oglethorpe invites students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members to take part in this lasting tradition.

The Oglethorpe University Music Department and Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society (ODK) present a night of traditional holiday festivities featuring the Oglethorpe University Singers, Chorale, Jazzy Petrels, and OU Symphony, directed by Dr. Andrew Schmidt and Dr. Nico Gutierrez. Inductees into the ODK will also be announced and will present the Legend of the Boar's Head. The members of ODK have also selected one member of the faculty to do a special reading for the event.

New this year, no tickets are required for the concert. Though tickets are no longer required, there will be plenty of available seats on a first-come, first-served basis.
