Oakman is located in Gordon County, approxiately 20 miles from Calhoun. Oakman is home to Carter's Lake, one of the most scenic lakes in the SE, featuring the highest earth-filled dam east of the Mississippi River and a full-service marina. This is the perfect location to hike, bird watch, fish and picnic.
