Rochelle is located in the central part of south Georgia. While you may expect an abundance of produce in this small South Georgia town, you may not expect to find a wonderful golfing experience. Mallard Point Golf Course is the perfect place for a relaxing day of golfing.

In Rochelle, the 100 feet wide streets remain today and the trees planted on the right-of-ways are now very big old oaks. Two important Garden Clubs and other civic organizations such as Trees Across Rochelle, Rochelle Lions Club, Friends of Morningside Cemetery, and Rochelle Downtown Development Authority, continue to influence the maintenance and preservation of the city of Rochelle.
