Downtown Senoia

Senoia

Welcome to a special place where you can get a glimpse of some of the scenes filmed in "The Walking Dead."

This historical district of Senoia is found just outside of Atlanta. Grand in its simplicity, Senoia is a destination for those who seek to decompress from a modern, fast-paced lifestyle. It's a place for leisurely shopping with one-of-a-kind gifts and antique treasures.

For fresh air, recreational trails in Marimac Lakes Park and along Rockaway Road can't be beat. Pop into the Senoia Area Historical Society Museum, inside a historical home, to see memorabilia from the area's past that spans 1820s land lottery deeds, ration books from the 1940s and the 1996 Olympic torch relay.

Visitors also venture to the nearby Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center in Callaway Gardens, Dunaway Gardens, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Starr's Mill Park and Little White House State Historic Site.
