The White County Chamber of Commerce & Welcome Center is located just north of the historic Cleveland courthouse square. It is housed in the former White County jail, built in 1901 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
Our friendly staff are happy to assist you in locating what you need in Cleveland, Helen, Sautee-Nacoochee and surrounding White County. Brochures, maps and guides are available to take with you. The Chamber and Welcome Center can assist you with visiting and touring information, relocation suggestions and settling-in guidance. The old jail is a two-story brick building of plain Italianate design where the jailer and his family lived on the first floor and inmates were housed on the second story. We invite you to visit the White County Chamber of Commerce & Welcome Center.
