New Discoveries: Historic Mills Walking Tour

Friday, Dec 19, 2025 11 AM to 12:30 PM - Watson Mill Bridge State Park - Comer, GA - Join us for a 1.5 hour, 3 mile round -trip hike through history dating back to the 1700s! Learn about the history of the park, the mills that powered industry, and see the newly discovered mill site that predates Watson’s Mill.

Meet at the Day-Use Parking Area next to the Madison County side of Watson Mill Bridge. (Across from picnic shelter 3) Please wear hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. Please call the park office to register! In the event of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled and attendees will be refunded.
