Get ready to kick off the holiday season in the heart of Downtown Dalton with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Burr Park! On Friday, November 28th, 2025, families and friends are invited to gather for an evening filled with festive cheer, holiday traditions, and community spirit.

The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with Crafts for Kids, a fun way for children to make festive creations that capture the magic of Christmas. At 6:00 p.m., the highlight of the evening takes place as the Downtown Dalton Christmas Tree comes to life with dazzling lights, bringing warmth and sparkle to Burr Park. It’s the perfect moment to share with loved ones, take photos, and soak in the spirit of the season.

But the fun doesn’t stop there—at 6:15 p.m., the Polar Express Trolley rolls in to add an extra touch of magic! Hop aboard for a ride that captures the wonder of the holiday season and delights children of all ages.
