Flovilla

Officially founded in 1885, the City of Flovilla is located in the southeast section of Butts County and is served by Georgia Highway 42, 87 and US 23. Due to its remote location 50 miles outside of Atlanta, Flovilla has remained a small and tranquil destination for those seeking historically preserved communities and outdoor adventure opportunities. Large turn-of-the-century homes abound throughout town, complemented by the Old Flovilla Schoolhouse and charming Indian Springs Village, Amphitheatre and Botanical Gardens. Just a quarter mile beyond the city limits is Indian Springs State Park with an abundance of recreational activities including fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking.
