The 9th Annual Georgia Film Festival will be hosted by the University of North Georgia’s (UNG) School of Communication, Film & Theatre (CFT) on September 18 - 20, 2025. The festival is held on the Gainesville campus in our new movie theater, The Hawk Cinema, which is housed in the Performing Arts building.

GFF celebrates filmmakers and films based in the state of Georgia and the Southeast. The festival features incredible indie films and workshops led by industry experts. This is a wonderful opportunity to network and see emerging talent and hear from unique voices. “SEE YOU AT THE MOVIES!!”
