This small rural North Georgia town sits alongside a railroad between Lavonia and Toccoa and is close to Tugaloo State Park and I-85.
Martin has an annual "Fall Festival". The festival is located in the main street of town running approximately one quarter mile and occurs on the last Saturday of October of each year. The festival generally includes one or more of the following:

The Christian Christmas season is celebrated by the people of Martin, Georgia. The town has a light display that runs along a one half mile stretch. Lighted snowflakes, Christmas singers, reindeer, and other items associated with the Christmas season are situated along a stretch of town along main street.
