Deerhunter’s Eighth Album Arrives at Retail on Friday, January 18

Deerhunter’s eighth album, "Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared?," will arrive in stores on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, via 4AD Records.

The album was recorded at various locations around the United States, including studios in Texas, Los Angeles and Atlanta, as well as the attic of vocalist Bradford Cox’s home in the latter’s Grant Park nieghborhood. Co-producers Cate LeBon and Atlanta’s Ben H. Allen, along with Tim Presley (White Fence), play on selected tracks.

Amidst a slew of other winter and spring tour dates (including three shows in Japan the week after the album’s release), Deerhunter will play the Savannah Stopover Music Festival on March 8, and Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival in early May.
