Pylon Reenactment Society Releases Single of Original Songs

The Pylon Reenactment Society have evolved from simply recreating the songs of vocalist Vanessa Briscoe Hay’s former Athens band Pylon, and are now writing and recording original material.

The first fruits of these labors are now available on a 7" vinyl single via Chunklet Industries. The A-side, "Messenger," would blend in seamlessly on any old Pylon record, while the B-side, "Cliff Notes," is a decidedly dancier ditty with rousing backing vocals from Hay’s bandmates.

Expect more new tunes in the future as the group continues to come into its own.
