Turpentine Festival

Saturday, Mar 28, 2026 10 AM to 3 PM - General Coffee State Park - Nicholls, GA - Join us as we celebrate the rich history of the naval stores industry in South Georgia! Learn all about catfaces, tar cups, rosin and turpentine! Historical demonstrations will take place throughout the day.

In addition to living history displays and demonstrations, visitors will also be able to check out numerous crafts and food vendors as well as some other entertainment. You don't wanna miss it!
