In just five days, Georgia-lensed "Avengers: Endgame" earned $1.2 billion worldwide--the fastest a film has ever topped the $1 billlion mark, the biggest worldwide open in history, and 2019's top-grossing film to date. Shattering box office records, it also had the biggest domestic opening weekend ever at $350 million. Marvel and Georgia have proven to be a good team, with box office juggernauts "Ant-Man," "Ant-Man and the Wasp," "Black Panther," "Spider-Man: Homecoming," Captain America: Civil War," "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," and portions of "Thor: Ragnarok" filmed in the state. Though much of "Endgame" was shot onstage at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, look for downtown Atlanta (Fairlie Poplar, Woodruff Park), Piedmont Park, and the Georgia International Convention Center in the film.
