The Savannah Music Festival and Plant Riverside District will continue the popular Savannah Music Festival/District Live Series with a special live performance featuring Steve Earle. The Savannah Music Festival/District Live Series is a landmark partnership between the Savannah Music Festival and Plant Riverside District that is designed to expand year-round live music options for Savannah-area residents and visitors.
Steve Earle stands apart as one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation. A protege of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, Earle quickly became a master storyteller in his own right, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and countless others. In 1986, he released his influential record, Guitar Town, which shot to #1 on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre. Catch Steve Earle up-close on his solo tour!
