Go back into history as you gaze at the engravings on Oak Grove Cemetery's oldest tombstones. Soldiers from every major war are buried there. Research has verified that Oak Grove holds the grave sites of more soldiers of the American Revolution than any other Georgia location. Many of the ill-fated Acadians who left Santo Domingo after a Haitian uprising are buried in Oak Grove. The earliest marked grave is from 1801.
