Tellus Science Museum

Tellus Science Museum celebrates natural history, scientific discovery and human innovation with engaging exhibits. An extensive mineral gallery tells the story of geological Georgia, while fossils found around the state paint a prehistoric picture. "From Clay to Copper" showcases archeological items recovered from Georgia's own Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site. An incredible collection, dating back to Woodland and Mississipian periods, many of the artifacts have been in storage for nearly 100 years.
