Big Door Vineyards

This new farm winery in North Georgia is founded on friendship, vintage wine and memorable times where award-wining wines are served up in their rustic tasting room (yes, whit a big door!) overlooking the vineyards and winery pier where small acoustic performances round out the perfect setting for connecting with good wine and good friends.  Big Door’s most recent accolade includes winning the Oglethorpe Award presented by the Georgia Trustees Wine Challenge.  This award is named for the founder of the Georgia colony because the Trustees in London tasked the colonists with growing grapes and making wine. It is given to the wine that has been designated by the judges to be the best of the competition!
