Chieftains Museum Commemorates 200th Anniversary
Location: Rome
Next year will mark the 200th anniversary of Cherokee leader Major Ridge coming to the house that is Chieftains Museum. This means that the cabin located inside the walls and ceilings of the historic house will be at least 200 years old. The museum plans to host a full calendar of special events in 2019 with at least one program per month to commemorate this important anniversary.
