Peaches in the Pines

Celebrate the Annual Arts and Crafts Festival with an old-fashioned country flavor - the newest event sponsored by Meriwether County Tourism. Featuring local artists, great entertainment featuring well-known headliner band, variety of food vendors, helicopter rides, kids' activities, Georgia grown produce, homemade peach ice cream, music, and many more activities planned.

Held on the 2nd Saturday in June, the event's venue is on the grounds of Lake Meriwether in Woodbury.  You can enjoy picnics, boating, fishing, camping and the newly opened disc golf course. This beautiful 144-acre lake offers a variety of native fish including bass, brim, catfish and crappie. Lake Meriwether also offers multiple camp sites for primitive camping and drive-through sites with limited electric/water hook-ups.
