Fire Ant Festival: Celebrating 250 Years of American Independence

We’re celebrating 250 years of American Independence (1776–2026) with a full month of red, white, and blue fun. Get ready for laughs, lively events, and plenty of patriotic ANT-ics as the Fire Ant Festival salutes America’s big anniversary. Visitors of all ages are invited to join us in Ashburn, GA! Fire Ant Fever is REAL! We will have some upcoming fun with Fire Ant BINGO, the Fire Ant Pageant, and taking on the most anticipated challenge of the season: the Find the Fire Ant Scavenger Hunt! When festival weekend arrives, lace up for the 5K Liberty Dash or the Stars & Stripes 1-Mile Fun Run. Explore local arts and crafts, dig into festival food that tastes as good as freedom feels, and enjoy live music, games, and fireworks under the Ashburn sky.
