Modern Americana showcases the work of CSRA-based artists reimagining classic Americana themes through the lens of Augusta’s diverse cultural identity. Presented at the Augusta & Co. Gallery in partnership with the Greater Augusta Arts Council, the exhibition highlights creativity, community, and the evolving American story.

The exhibition opens with a gallery reception on July 3, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., featuring wine and light hors d’oeuvres as guests explore the collection and reflect on what it means to be American.

Modern Americana is part of Augusta’s contribution to the statewide Georgia 250 and national America 250 commemorations, connecting local voices to the broader celebration of our nation’s past, present, and future.
