Three By Beethoven with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra

Join the CSO for an electrifying season finale, Three by Beethoven—an evening that celebrates the drama, passion, and heroism at the heart of one of music’s most revolutionary figures. The Egmont Overture sets the stage with its thunderous chords and spirit of defiance. 

Pianist Claire Huangci makes her return with the stormy brilliance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, showcasing her “radiant virtuosity” and “artistic sensitivity” (Salzburger Nachrichten). The evening reaches its pinnacle with the groundbreaking Symphony No. 3, “Eroica”, a towering masterpiece that marked a turning point in music history—surging with bold energy, soaring triumph, and the unstoppable spirit of a symphonic legend.
