Parrot Feather Rodeo

Saturday, Apr 11, 2026 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM - Watson Mill Bridge State Park - Comer, GA - Join us on a kayak paddle to remove this invasive aquatic plant! The participant that removes the most parrot feather will receive a free hat. Fun and easy, no experience necessary. Ranger led. Space is limited, Pre-registration required. Participants will need to sign a waiver. If there is inclement weather, the program will need to be cancelled.

Fee includes kayak or canoe rental, lifejacket, and paddle. Meet up by the kayak shelter next to the river. Participants are encouraged to bring water and wear water shoes.
