The Monroe County Historical Society invites the community to join us for a hands-on Weaving Workshop on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM in the Conley Building, located at 126 E Johnston St, Forsyth. Participants will learn the ancient art of weaving while creating their own hand-woven cup cozy to take home. This beginner-friendly workshop offers a fun, easy introduction to a craft practiced for thousands of years and still cherished today.
The workshop fee is $25 per person, which includes all materials.
This program is part of our ongoing Workshop & Program Series celebrating the opening of our new exhibition, Culloden: 250 Years of American Independence.
Space is limited. We encourage early registration to secure a spot.
