Make a splash this July at Elachee! Our Discovery Saturdays are packed with hands-on activities, creative crafts, and exciting discoveries all about water ecology. Dive into the fascinating world of aquatic wildlife, explore water quality, and uncover the secrets of freshwater ecosystems. Bring the whole family and enjoy a day of water-filled fun!

Highlights:

• Engaging Activities: Participate in hands-on learning and crafts that explore the wonders of water and the creatures that thrive within it.
• Water Quality Explorations: Join a naturalist for a hike down to Walnut Creek to discover why clean water matters and how it supports life in our ecosystems. We’ll be getting into the stream with nets to search for and identify different aquatic creatures!
• Discover Aquatic Wildlife: Learn about the amazing animals that call freshwater habitats home and their vital roles in nature.
• Live Animal Ambassadors: Meet and greet with our resident reptiles and amphibians.
• Family Fun: Perfect for all ages—create memories while learning and exploring together.

• Time: 10:00 am-3:00 pm
• Admission: Included with $10 General Admission to Elachee Nature Science Center. Members enjoy free admission.
