Founder’s Day Celebration & Storytelling

On Wednesday, July 15, we will be celebrating Fuller Callaway Sr.’s 156th birthday with complimentary tours of the first floor of the Callaway family home and walks through the historic gardens. Executive Director Carleton Wood will also be offering his fresh-squeezed homemade lemonade at the Pool Terrace beginning at 11am while supplies last. Please arrive no later than 3pm to have time to see the house and garden.

That evening, the Donald Davis Storytelling Workshop participants will hold a public storytelling in the Pecan Grove at 7pm. This is also free to the public, and guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets.
