In the Oceans Ballroom, a flexible space featuring two large aquatic observation windows, guests find themselves face-to-face with exotic fish and animals from every corner of the world. 8. Madras Park in Newnan

12. The Classic Center Arena in Athens

Coming to Athens this summer, The Classic Center Arena will be the new local hub for large-scale events with capacity to hold 8,500 people. Directly connected to The Classic Center, an award-winning convention center and performing arts theatre, the arena will transform to accommodate any occasion from concerts and sports tournaments to banquets and general sessions. 13. Hotel Forty Five in Macon

Hotel Forty Five is downtown Macon’s first full-service boutique hotel. Inspired by the city’s rich history and culture, the 94-room hotel is located on a unique 45-degree angle, which is the result of Cotton Street's diagonal trajectory through Macon, an urban design ahead of its time that made possible the transportation of cotton barges to and from the Ocmulgee River.
