50th Anniversary of Sweetwater Creek State Park

Friday, May 29, 2026 10 AM to 12 PM - Sweetwater Creek State Park - Lithia Springs, GA - Its the park's 50th Birthday! We opened our doors and heart to the public May 29, 1976 at 10 am. We've taken pride in caring for our natural and historic resources, and each other. Join us as we cut the birthday cake at 10 am. We encourage visitors to write and share their favorite memories at Sweetwater Creek or to bring photos from the park.
