Rising Fawn, named for the child of a Cherokee chieftain, is a small unincorporated area of Dade County, located in a valley near Lookout Mountain. It's home to Cloudland Canyon State Park where visitors can hike down to not one, but two waterfalls. Lookout Lake and numerous cabins round out the Rising Fawn area.
