Fantastic Fungi: An Intro To Mycology

Saturday, Apr 18, 2026 11 AM to 12:30 PM - Hard Labor Creek State Park - Rutledge, GA - Fungi exist everywhere around us, and in all shapes and sizes. Join a ranger in this mushroom workshop where you will learn about the different parts of a mushroom, how to ID mushrooms, and common mushrooms you may find in Hard Labor Creek. The program consists of a 1-mile hike where we will look for fungi along the way test your ID skills.

Please bring closed-toed shoes, water, insect repellant, and sunscreen as this is a hiking program.
