Vidalia's newest landmark debuted in the Spring of 2015 during the Vidalia Onion Festival. Located behind City Hall, the fountain was created entirely by local artisans and promises to be a hub at the center of the city for years to come.

The stainless steel structure in the center of the fountain is a 6 foot x 6 foot onion created by Ruth Williams English. The beautifully sculpted onion sits in a 20 foot basin pool designed by Greg Goff, owner of GG's Landscaping.  The large basin includes 10 individual pumps that operate not only the water feature of the onion, but the area surrounding the onion. At night visitors can be entertained with the multi-colored lights and water that dance to the sounds of music playing in the park.
