Eat Like a Pro at these Atlanta Stadiums
Love food? How about sports? Both? Whether you're a hard core sports fan or just go to the games to hit the concession stands, you're in for the game of your life. Atlanta has two great stadiums that boast a long list of high-end restaurants turned concession stands for you to choose from.
Truist Park
The food at Truist Park is just slightly secondary to the game! Baseball fans will enjoy watching their favorite MLB teams play ball at the home of the Atlanta Braves, while enjoying a foodie home run with cuisine offerings from faux chicken to a burger with waffles as the bun. Atlanta favorites Slutty Vegan and H+F Burger are on site to offer up tasty treats like plant-based bratwurst and double-stack cheeseburgers.
The Coors Chop House lives on at the park. Wet your whistle at this Braves fan-favorite hot spot at one of its two large patios overlooking the right field or at the Below the Chop restaurant.
On hot summer afternoons, cool your palate with a fruity icy treat from King of Pops.
Truist Park also has a "Farm to Fan" food initiative, sourcing concession refreshments from more than 40 Atlanta-based restaurants and food service companies. These will use available local ingredients that change with the season.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Mercedes-Benz Stadium food is no slouch either. The home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC offers culinary touchdowns from several restaurant partners. Expect signature items from Williamson Bros. BBQ like smoked pulled pork or chicken sandwiches and mac & cheese, wings from J.R. Crickets (try the lemon pepper), and Cuban sandwiches from Papi's Cuban Grill.
There also are riffs on American classics from restaurateur and celebrity chef Kevin Gillespie at his concession stand Gamechanger and Southern favorites overlooking the field at Molly B's Cookhouse. For those with a sweet tooth, indulge in pralines and flavored popcorn at Miss D’s Popcorn, or enjoy a frosty treat from Bruster’s Real Ice Cream. For fans of a certain age, you can also enjoy local craft beers and signature cocktails made with Georgia spirits.
If sports aren't your thing, but you still love great food, you'll be happy to know that these concession stands also have restaurants in metro Atlanta: Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Chick-fil-A, Farm Burger, J.R. Crickets, Miss D’s Popcorn, Papi's Cuban Grill.
