The Athens to Savannah Ride supports the Georgia Hi-Lo Trail by raising awareness and funds to complete the 211-mile bike trail. Choose from 4-day gravel, 3-day road or single-day options. Each day takes riders to a new destination on courses through rural Georgia. Gravel riders can expect amazing terrain - from the red clay of the hilly Piedmont region to the sandy soils of the Coastal Plain.

About the Georgia Hi-Lo Trail

Funds raised from the ride are used to support the mission of the Georgia Hi-Lo Trail and initiatives to drive economic development through connectivity and empowerment of Georgia's rural communities. Upon completion of the 211-mile Georgia Hi-Lo Trail from Union Point to Savannah, the Hi-Lo Trail will connect to the 39-mile Firefly Trail from Union Point to Athens and together form the longest paved trail in America, connecting small Georgia towns, from Athens to Savannah through the paved, road separated path and creating opportunities for growth and economic development.
