Fernbank Science Center

The center houses a 9,000-square-foot exhibit hall, a 500-seat planetarium, an observatory, two-electron microscopes, a library, a distance learning studio, science labs, and a 65-acre forest. Admission to Fernbank Science Center is free of charge. This includes the exhibit hall and associated grounds, the library, and the observatory. 

Before your visit, please read our Health and Safety Protocols. The most important procedural change is that tickets are required for entry. Tickets to enter the building to explore the exhibit hall are FREE. Tickets to planetarium shows are $10.00 for adults and $5 for students/children. Planetarium tickets include entry to the exhibit hall, so no need to reserve both. Visitors are strongly encouraged to reserve tickets in advance here: https://sales.fernbank.edu/performancecalendar.aspx. 

NOTE: Discounts for military personnel, ASTC members, and college students are available at the door with proper ID.
