Well-known as the repository for the Morehouse College Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection, the Atlanta University Center's Robert W. Woodruff library provides students and faculty with a state-of-the-art learning and research facility. Researchers can access the King Collection, which includes 1,100 books from Dr. King's personal library with his handwritten notes and memorabilia from his civil rights activities. Rotating exhibits are regularly on public display at the Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta. The Robert W. Woodruff Library also houses public meeting spaces, exhibits and the John Henrik Clarke Africana and African American collection.
