Visitors to this 135-acre preserve in southwest Atlanta can hike the extensive trails to Utoy Creek (site of a Civil War battle) and a waterfall (Cascade Falls) in one of the largest old forests inside the city limits. Along the way, visitors will find the remains of a pump house and a moss-covered stone spring house, an outdoor auditorium, Civil War-era trenches, a quarry and plentiful wildlife.
