Visitors to this 135-acre preserve in southwest Atlanta can hike the extensive trails to Utoy Creek (site of a Civil War battle) and a waterfall (Cascade Falls) in one of the largest old forests inside the city limits. Along the way, visitors will find the remains of a pump house and a moss-covered stone spring house, an outdoor auditorium, Civil War-era trenches, a quarry and plentiful wildlife.

Summer: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday - Sunday 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Winter: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday - Sunday 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
