The Willis Park Hotel

Built-in 1899, The Willis Park Hotel in Bainbridge, Georgia is the first of its kind regionally. A truly boutique hotel, with six carefully stylized rooms each offering a uniquely different experience. This historic space sits directly on the Historic Town Square Downtown. A balcony was constructed where guests can enjoy the best views of Willis Park.

Prior to being developed, this historic property sat vacant since the 1950s and was most recently used as an insurance office. Owners, Tyler and Heather Thomas toured and fell in love with the property in 2018. They could see the potential and gorgeous features that needed to be revived and shared with the public. The couple then spent the next three years creating this concept from scratch.

Carefully implemented design elements such as a one-hundred-year-old stained-glass window salvaged from a church in Alabama, historic stained-glass doors from France made in 1903, dual skylights, a reading nook, a custom architectural double spiral staircase with catwalk, Gemsboks, and more have been added to bring something new, fresh, and cosmopolitan to this rural region.
