Gibbs Gardens’ Seasons of Color is a feast for the senses all year long. Explore our 336-acre estate garden, with 250+ acres of artistically landscaped gardens surrounded by majestic forest, spring-fed ponds, streams, waterfalls, and bridge crossings.
TWENTY-ONE GARDEN VENUES - Our 21 garden venues include six feature gardens:
Daffodils: 50 acres of daffodils with millions of flowers, blooming from March to mid-April.
Manor House Gardens: Designed to offer color in spring, summer, and fall, with lush terraces, waterfalls, sweeping lawns, and woodland.
Monet Waterlily Gardens: Features 140 varieties of waterlilies, both tropical and hardy, blooming from late spring through fall. A replica of the bridge in Monets’ garden provides a focal point year-round.
Japanese Gardens: More than 40 acres with spring-fed ponds, islands, bridges, boulders, rocks, and 40 handcrafted Japanese lanterns. A collection of more than 1,000 Japanese maples provides brilliant colors in autumn.
Inspiration Gardens: 7.5 acres featuring Encore and Native Azaleas, Dwarf Drift and Knockout series of roses, Dwarf Japanese Dissectum and Japanese Maples, and 200+ varieties of Dwarf Conifers.
"Le Jardin" Color Garden: 1000s of bold, colorful annuals & perennials. 9 flower beds including 3 serpentine beds.
Our unique all-season gardens -- The Fern Dell, The Gazebo, the Grandchildren’s Sculpture Garden, and The Pleasance – offer distinctly different garden views and experiences.
Azalea, rhododendron, rose, crape myrtle, daylily, wildflower, cherry blossom, dogwood, and spectacular fall color displays bring a changing tableau of color, fragrance, and texture to the gardens.
Visit the Gardens and our online Bloom Calendar every 2 weeks from March through early December to enjoy the myriad of changes that occur throughout the season.
