*There are no pet weight limits at Barnsley Resort. Dogs must stay on leashes while in the village. Pet sitting may also be arranged with advance notice.
An array of al fresco dining options
One of the best parts about staying at Barnsley Resort is the world-class food and drink. With three restaurants and plenty of private dining options, you never have to leave the resort for a delicious meal. Two of the restaurants are pet-friendly:
The Woodlands Grill
Known as the social hub of the resort, The Woodlands Grill is a “country house hunting lodge” with roaring fires and picture-perfect golf course views to set the mood. For playful renditions on Southern regional comfort food matched with an extensive wine, craft beer and spirits lists, The Woodlands Grill patio is the perfect, cozy spot for a night out with your pup in tow.
Tip: Make reservations if you plan to go for dinner.
The Beer Garden
If you’re looking for a more casual place to hang out with your pup, dine al fresco at the Beer Garden. Sit down, relax and enjoy a casual meal in the beautiful garden. More than 30 craft beer sections are available.
Hiking trails, garden walks & open meadows galore
The resort has more than 10 miles of hiking trails and beautiful gardens to explore! Discover the rolling landscape as you stroll around the historic gardens. Many of the trails wind along peaceful ponds, over wooden bridges and walkways, and along the golf course.
After your hike, enjoy roasting s’mores, relax with a good book, or play lawn games at the outdoor sitting areas.
Help other pups find their “furever” home
You’ll be helping other pups in need when you spend your getaway at Barnsley Resort. A portion of each pet fee ($175 for standard rooms or $275 for multi-bedroom cottages) is donated to PAWS Atlanta.
