Visiting Buckhead Atlanta with the Family
Buckhead is Atlanta's ultra-chic neighborhood, known for glamorous shopping, sprawling mansions and sophisticated night clubs. But, there is also a very family-friendly side to the city that shouldn't be over-looked. Next time you're in town for business (or just pondering a trip to the city), bring the kids along!
Where to play
At Legoland Discover Center, kids can see how LEGOs are made, build and test LEGO racers, watch a movie in the 4D cinema and much more. Plan for about 2-3 hours of play time at LEGOLAND Atlanta, and purchase tickets online before you go to save some cash.

If you're visiting on the weekend, I highly recommend a stop at The Painted Pin. This upscale bowling alley is super fancy and tons of fun, with old-school games and delicious eats. Seriously, it's unlike any place you've ever been. But don't miss this tip – The Painted Pin is typically an over-21 fun house, but kids of all ages are welcome before 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
If the weather is cooperating, then spend some time outside. Our family loves the playground and Champion trees at Memorial Park or the Blue Heron Nature Preserve.

Where to eat

Families who love seafood should head to The Big Ketch. Their Kid's Fun Zone meal is only $1.99 from 4-6 p.m. (dine in only.) We also enjoy Souper Jenny at Atlanta History Center, R. Thomas Deluxe Grill and Shake Shack for kiddo dining in Buckhead.
Where to stay

Staying overnight in Buckhead is always fun! The kids will adore the indoor saline pool at Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. Also with an indoor pool and proximity to Lenox Mall and Marta, JW Marriott is extremely family-friendly.
