Oak Grove Cemetery is a Victorian Era cemetery established by the city of Brunswick in 1838. Originally ten acres, the boundaries were reduced to three acres in 1871. There are more than 1,200 graves, 418 unmarked and over 60 unknown. Around 200 Civil War soldiers both Confederate and Union are buried at Oak Grove. Guided walking tours are available to groups of five or more for a donation of $5.00 per person. A "symbolism" tour is our most popular.
