The Cedartown Welcome Center is located in the Depot right by the Silver Comet Trail. Inside, you will find brochures, maps, restrooms and vending machines, as well as a bike fix station. You will also find depot train memorabilia and many novelties of the late Sterling Holloway, better known as the voice of Winnie the Pooh, in the museum dedicated to his works. The Welcome Center also features a sampling of the city's past through small displays and exhibits.
The current building is a replica of Cedartown's long-demolished Seaboard Air Line Railway depot. The new structure was constructed in 2004 and stands at the same location on S. Main Street as did the original structure.
