Jacksonville

Jacksonville made the history books when George Perry caught the World Record Bass in Jacksonville in 1932.  Because fish were for eating, the fish was not preserved but was certified.  Jacksonville is located along US Highway 441 and continues to be a fishing destination for many.  You can also paddle, canoe and kayak down the Ocmulgee with a landing in Jacksonville.
