Fort Yargo State Park is the centerpiece of Winder, offering opportunities for camping, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, biking, and mini golf. Spend the day exploring the park's trails or relaxing along the shores of the 260-acre Marbury Creek Reservoir. Highlights include the Jug Tavern Arts Festival, featuring local artists, live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.  Celebrate Winder in July features music and fireworks. Fall brings favorites such as Spooktacular, while the Winder Christmas Parade and Santa's After Party help kick off the holiday season in downtown Winder.

Winder experiences four distinct seasons. And in true Georgia fashion, summers are hot and sometimes sticky, while winters are short and cool. Spring and fall bring comfortable temperatures, making them ideal times to enjoy outdoor activities.
