Wrens

What you'll find unique about Wrens is its hometown feel with a friendly city atmosphere.  Wrens is  just 32 miles southwest of I-20 and is located on U.S. Hwy 1/the Fall Line Freeway.  It has been designated as a Better Home Town and provides easy acces to Fort Gordon and Augusta.  Today, Wrens boasts the largest gourd farm on this side of the Mississippi and attracts visitors from all over the country. A few notable residents include author Erskine Caldwell, landscape architect Bruce Kelly and NFL center for the Tennessee Titans Fernando Velaco.
